It's a manufactured product, the difference is large from the cheap ones I used to use. The light distribution and off-light range is very good.
Installation is a simple matter of reading the instruction manual, it shouldn't be too difficult. Wiring of the Controller felt long, but in fact, if it is a cowl car, it will be long, and if it is a non-cowl car, it will be short. My RC42 has a depression under the rear end of the tank. When I tried to ride at night after installing it, there was no problem, but when I rode on the next day, the Light went out when I set the High beam switch to Low. The Indicator is working. So, when I checked, it connects Coupler of Light valve and Coupler of Controller, but even if it inserts firmly, the inserted part floats. There may be the affinity with the coupler of the vehicle, but if the above-mentioned symptoms occur, please see the coupler. Or if you insert the Coupler in advance, please tie it up with Tie Wrap to prevent it from falling out. At first, I had no idea what was going on, and I was worried about it.
After 5 years of use, the low side of the LED headlight stopped working, so I decided to buy a new headlight. I chose the "PIAA PIAA MLE6 6000Kelvin 12V−24/24W" from a number of potential LED headlights. I was a little worried because there was no room in the headlightReverse side of GSX-S1000. The wiring is long, but if you wrap it around, it will fit beautifully. The instructions are very detailed and easy to read, and I can work with ease. The brightness is needless to say. Other companies show Lumen&Kelvin, but PIAA also shows Candela, which I liked. I chose this one from the sense of security of the car inspection, durability, and others though there is a cheap thing if "explosion light" is desired.View Detail

This kit does not match with the Coupler on the car body, so you just need to replace it.
