It took about an hour to install. No issue that I don't read Japanese and the instructions were in Japanese. There is YouTube videos on how to install this and it is easy all plug and play no splicing or soldering required. I recommend this for anyone with a Honda SCL500!

I've installed this tachometer on European market honda dax 125. Before ordering please check if you have the blue plug inside the headlight cover! My bike didn't, so I had to build a custom harness to take power. (used the 8 pin headlight socket for power). After this issue got solved, it's a great product. View Detail
If you remove the headlight cover of the GB350C, you can find the service wiring. I connected the Honda USB to the transparent terminal [red (+), green (-)] of the service wiring. I connected the black/red (+) and green (-) of the remaining black terminals to the wiring terminal of the tachometer respectively. (The manual explains it very kindly.) Before removing the connector from the ignition coil, you should first remove the fixing pin shown in the photo below to make the work easier. Finally, when reassembling the headlight, you should divide the wiring into two parts so that it does not interfere with the headlight wiring. The operation condition is very satisfactory. Finally, you should check whether the ignition status setting is set to 1P-2 according to the manual. I highly recommend this product. It will help you enjoy your riding more. The bracket that the signals mount to bent a lot just trying to push them into the housing. But it bent back pretty straight. Seems solid once it's installed. Took about an hour and a half to disassemble and install this kit. Will be buying the grab bar in the picture as well to complete the look. View Detail
