Can highly recommend it to anyone looking to swap out their original clutch cover
About quality and texture - The wire type special clutch cover kit from SP Takegawa is made from mostly cast aluminium but billet and forged pieces can also be found, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - As you can see from the photo, there is a lot going on here and the special clutch cover is involved with quite a bit of it. Very much enjoy all the design and details that have gone into manufacturing this clutch cover and can highly recommend it to anyone looking to swap out their original clutch cover.Products to buy together - With so many addon available for this special clutch cover, my key product to purchase to further increase it's use would be the oil cooler especially when you consider the top end engine kit that has been fitted.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the special clutch cover is a intermediate task that took 1.5 hours to complete. Mechanical aptitude and the use of hand tools and a few special tools is what is required to access the engine internals, remove the centrifugal oil filter, assemble and fit the clutch cover to then finish with a clutch adjustment. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but the special clutch cover is priced higher then its competitor.About shipping and packaging - With there only being a small cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the special clutch cover, I chose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, purchasing specialty products like this from Webike Japan is the only option. There are a few local stores selling parts for the Grom but the range is very basic.

About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the special clutch cover kit from SP Takegawa. Just about everything on the clutch cover is made from aluminium, cast, CNC machined or forged with a mixture of black and silver finishes. About the feeling of use: This sure is one part that offers a lot of features and for me the primary reason for purchasing it was to have the ability to filter the oil well for my 181cc big bore kit. This clutch cover just looks sensational on the Grom too. Products to buy together: An oil cooler kit from SP Takegawa specific for the Grom would also be desirable to purchase alongside the special clutch cover kit as it will be an easy install with the correct fittings and mounts needed. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour. Release the right rearset and remove the OEM Honda clutch cover and oil spinner. You can then start installing the SP Takegawa internal engine parts and fit the special clutch cover. The clutch cable also needs to be replaced and adjusted to complete the installation. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting an extremely high quality product that comes with everything you need but at a higher price when compared to the clutch cover available from Kitaco. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The black painted finish on the clutch cover I recieved was not perfect when compared to the black painted Kitaco clutch cover quality. View Detail
* About quality and texture, Die-cast aluminium clutch housing with a black painted finish to suit the Grom engine but the silver clutch cover and oil filter cover do standout and that was 1 of the main reasons for me adding other silver accents to the opposite side of my engine.* About the feeling of use, This clutch cover looks fantastic on the Grom and does everything better then the Honda OEM clutch cover did, a must have part if you like having the best.* Products to buy together, If you installing this clutch cover for it's features then more then likely you will be wanting to benefit from an oil cooler also, Takegawa have many different kits to suit their 2 sizes of oil coolers and 3 different types of oil lines.* Difficulty of installation, The install requires removal of the rearset, Honda OEM clutch cover and oil spinner using a special tooling. The process was completed in 120 minutes with no difficultly as I was able to download the english instructions from the Takegawa website.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, A well priced part for the features it adds to the Grom engine. Kitaco do also sell a cheaper clutch cover but theirs is more basic and the Takegawa one is the only one to buy in my opinion.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 8 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, Replacement oil filters can be sourced from Takegawa, K-Pit and Honda, a google search will reveal the part numbers. Use the product reviews to assist in making a decision on your purchase.View Detail

This is my favorite clutch cover for the Monkey / Grom / MSX, of course you can get it with a dry clutch etc but in this configuration its really good value. It's best when pared with the optional thermostat so you dont over cool the oil. I've personally purchased two of these on different occasions and always recomend them to people. I perfer this one over the Kitaco version as it offers the thermostat. I think these and a good tune are the key to a reliable long lasting bigbore setup. View Detail

About quality and texture - The front hollow axle shaft from Kitaco is made from chromoly steel with precision machining and a black oxide surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The black finished axle looks wonderful against the black lower fork legs. Fitting this to the front of the Monkey 125 is more noticeable handling wise then when fitting one to the rear. Not something I considered necessary in the past but as I continue to work on the Honda Monkey 125 I find it best to replace the cheaper parts as I am performing scheduled maintenance in that area.Products to buy together - While performing maintenance on the brakes and tires, I considered it the perfect opportunity to also replace the front axle collars with a lighter option ftom Kitaco.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the front axle is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove weight fron the front wheel and swap the original axle with a greased hollow axle shaft.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Kitaco sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the front axle is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the front axle, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. From service parts to performance products and even motorcycle gear and apparel, Webike always seem to satisfy my needs in regards to availability and pricing.View Detail
About quality and texture - The type 3 down fender bracket from G-Craft is made from billet aluminum with detailed machining and a silver anodized along with aluminum straps with a black painted finish surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The look of the front fender with the down fender bracket fitted is impressive when compared to the original positioning. More proportional and appropriately styled for a road orientated Honda Monkey 125. A real classic looking part.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase to fill the large void above the fender and add appropriate styling to the front of the Monkey 125 is a vintage style chrome horn from Daytona. That maintains all the features of the original horn but improves the look.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the down fender bracket is a simple task that took 0.6 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the down brackets to the fender with the G-Craft allen key bolts and then install onto the lower fork legs with the original Honda fork guard hardware.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products G-Craft sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but this time around is better value.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the down fender bracket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. About quality and texture - The spark plug cap from Kitaco is made from phenolic resin, silicone rubber and ceramics with a simple look, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - This spark plug cap has a smaller diameter rubber boot for use with a 8mm spark plug unlike the original spark plug cap which isused with a 10mm spark plug and does not seal well with the smaller spark plug, but with no other noticeable differences when used along side the original ignition coilProducts to buy together - This product would not normally be purchased to use with the original engine setup so the use of a NGK ER8EH for the upgraded NEO engine kit from Kitaco is needed.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the spark plug cap is a simple task that took 0.2 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of your hands is all that is required to secure the spark plug cap to the ignition coil lead.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products KItaco sell to be great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the spark plug cap is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the spark plug cap, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. About quality and texture - The short reach lever set from Kitaco is made from billet aluminum with precision machining and a silver anodized surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. I have tried to highlight this in my photo.About the feeling of use - The OEM lever set are fine but I was looking for a higher quality lever set without going to an adjustable lever set, that just does not suit the styling of my Monkey 125. The short reach is a little different but still fine and now the lever set matches the other high quality parts I have on my Monkey.Products to buy together - While removing the clutch cable to fit the lever set, I considered it the ideal time to also fit the SP Takegawa fat cable adjuster, that is another high quality billet aluminum part and allowed me to remove the OEM adjuster and rubber cover for a much cleaner look.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the short reach lever set is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove the clutch and brake levers from the perches, grease the pivots and adjust the clutch cable to suit the different lever position.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Kitaco sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the short reach lever set is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the short reach lever set, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date.
