Ordered this from Japan, in America... the only real exhaust systems available here are kinda cheap, and not great quality fit and finish. I'm giving it 5 stars because it is well made and fits really well. Sounds great good deep tone not too loud but not quiet either. And, at the right rpm shell get some fireballs shooting. I should probably give it 4 because it touches the fairing like literally maybe 3 inches roughly a 1/4 inch is near it had the plastics melt a little and fold a fuzz. (Oops) trimmed it up so there is a little clearance and seems fine. Could just be my luck or might actually be screwed up. Don't know can't compare it to another one any where around here.
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of this full carbon muffler and stainless steel exhaust header pipe and brackety.About the feeling of use: Super lightweight resulting in a good weight saving over the Honda exhaust. The high mounting position of the muffler results in increased ground clearance which is perfect for when the Grom heads offroadProducts to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase along side this full exhaust system, due to my offroad riding I retained the Honda airbox and have added a K&N air filter panel specifically for the Grom.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one and a half hours to complete. A new gasket for the forward mounting flange is recommended .Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving a quality manufactured product using quality materials that is proven to increase performance as compared to a slip-on exhaust that retains the Honda exhaust header pipe.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: If you are not happy to cut into parts of your bike to make a newly purchase part fit then you will not want to buy this as modification is required for the rear support bracket.View Detail
* About quality and texture, Steel rear mounting bracket finished in black powder coating, carbon fiber end cap and stainless steel muffler sleeve and high mount exhaust piping .* About the feeling of use, One of my favourite high mount exhaust system for giving the Grom that motard look. The performance and exhaust note is much improved over stock exhaust and I am very impressed that Tyga include a db killer too.* Products to buy together, Tyga Performance make many carbon fiber replacement parts to complement the muffler end cap, I'd start with a front fender.* Difficulty of installation, Installation requires modifying the lower subframe plastic to be able to fit the rear mounting bracket but after that just passing the exhaust piping through the swingarm and securing the 2 head nuts, 1 mounting bracket bolt and 3 exhaust springs. The process was completed in 120 minutes with a little difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, There are cheaper high mount exhausts available here if your budget is the main concern but for me the look with the mixture of carbon fiber and stainless and the quality of the welds is worth the extra expense.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 8 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, If the oval muffler doesn't suit you, Tyga offer the high mount exhaust pipe with other style muffler too. Use the product reviews to assist in making a decision on your purchase.View Detail
It's an exhaust system for RC390 but I installed it on RC200. The diameter is about the same so if you have a good gasket, you can install it normally. The exhaust system and the intermediate pipe are RoseRose but the diameter is not Exactly, so you need to use a liquid gasket or something to prevent exhaust leaks. The sound is large-weighted and I personally like it better than the OEM. I like it better than OEM.:Pair (for Left and Right) Not subject to. SubtletyQuantity.:Pair (for Left and Right) It's a shame that the direction is changed by the "Mere Old Man", but I don't think you can make a mistake without it.View Detail
(This product is not for use on public roads in Japan I installed it on First Model Type As for why I bought it, first of all, it's cheaper than any Full Exhaust System! And it looks Simple and cool! I didn't expect to be able to buy a new Full Exhaust System for the $30,000 range Moreover, if the diameter is right, the Universal Silencer can be installed, so the Dress-up is also possible I didn't think it had any Baffle because it was a race tube, but it had it normally It was
Impression with HRC's Inlet Duct The sound is better than the OEM exhaust system, the sound of the Race ish with good bass that seems to be a single cylinder Sound I thought it would get better and the low speed would be scuffed up, but the Torque was down to that point I did not It blows up all the way to high rpm, even from low speeds, and it feels good to ride Before you know it, you'll be hitting the revs However, I feel like there's more of a thumping sensation at low and medium speeds that is unique to Injection So, sooner or later, you will be able to reduce the pressure ValveorInternal Pressure Control I'm looking forward to seeing how much I can mitigate this as I plan to purchase a Valve
As for the installation, it was the first Full Exhaust System replacement, so I had a hard time Gasket was not included, so I put KITACO's Gasket on it The most difficult part was the OEM Tandem Footpeg exhaust bracket It's something you can't pontificate on I extended Bracket from Tandem and managed to install it, but it was not able to There's a special exhaust bracket from the company, so you should buy that one too Or you can make it by yourself
My mc41 is an '11 and doesn't have an O2 sensor on it So there is a hole in the exhaust pipe to install the O2 sensor The original Bolts that are attached to the car must be properly re-tightened While driving, the Bolt came loose and the exhaust leaked from the mounting hole of the O2 sensor, which was disgusting It sounded vulgar and loud You should have a spare 12M Bolt in case you lose it, just in case you lose it UghView Detail
