It was surprisingly easy to replace it, and I did it after looking at the Manufacturer's and individual's Page. The only special tools I used were a universal holder, a socket wrench for the Tappet, and a Thickness Gauge. In my case, because OEMCam was not pulled out, I loosened both IN/EX of Tappet and pulled it out. Other than that, I kept the information on Net. After exchange and Tappet adjustment, I changed Mapping of I-MAP and completed the work. I thought that it was a work that Hurdle was high, but it was quite easy and I was disappointed. The engine feels good from 6000rpm which was not the case with the normal engine. I think that the maximum speed also rises because the power of the high rotation range has risen. By the way, Spec. is SprocketNORMAL, I-MAP No.2, YOSHIMURAExhaust System, High flow air filter, intake hole expansion Large, Slipper clutch. But I think it was worth more than the price. Also, the Manufacturer was temporarily out of stock, but Webig had it in stock and it arrived quickly.View Detail
After a lot of thought and help from elsewhere, the camshaft was found to be needing a replacement due to incorrect storage and so the fun began. Finding the right camshaft was pretty straightforward, there are a lot of spare parts available for these bikes which makes my life a lot easier. The price for the camshaft was a real bargain and if I had to replace from the UK parts, it would be at least double the price. So, along with a few other parts for the project it was added to the basket. My order was shipped all together via EMS and arrived in 5 days from being shipped from Webike warehouse. The box arrived in perfect condition and was filled with bubble wrap to keep everything safe. The camshaft is truly an awesome piece of machinery. This one is far beyond what I imagined to get. I have never purchased Kitaco parts before but these are definitely the way to gofor thos project. The cams are all nicely machined, the bearings are sound and pretty much a plug and play. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to purchase this camshaft for my Monkey. After installing a new clutch with the flywheel, the engine power became somewhat lacking. About the feeling of use: Super lightweight compared to the Honda exhaust which results in a good weight saving. This muffler design is on a larger proportion for the Grom but it manages to create a big bike sound from the little 125cc motor. Products to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase along side this full exhaust system, I will be going with an open air intake from Kitaco. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour to complete. A new gasket for the forward mounting flange is recommended. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving a well designed and manufactured product using quality materials that will help increase performance but there are also other options for much less cost, so browse Webike available exhausts if you have a lower exhaust budget. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the pulley holder from Kitaco made from a steel construction with a PVC coating over the band to help improve it's hold.About the feeling of use: I have used this tool to hold the clutch and flywheel on my Honda Grom when removal of these parts were required for maintenance with great success. The adjustable band makes this tool very versatile for varies sized motorcycle parts.Products to buy together: Some more tooling like a center lock nut wrench would also be desirable to purchase along side the pulley holder so when it comes time to remove the clutch assembly and oil spinner on your Honda Grom you have all the special tooling required to complete the job.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes a few minutes, place the pulley holder around the part that needs to be held and adjust the band if required. Tighten down the T handle so that the band holder does not allow the part to spin as you undo the fastener securing the part. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as this is a quality made band holder from Kitaco that has with stood numerous usage without failure as compared to the first band hold that I purchased from another site that failed soon after.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the titanium exhaust from Over Racing. The muffler is quite compact with a removable baffle inside and made from titanium, while the exhaust piping is very large in diameter at the exhaust port end and just continues to expand all the way up to the muffler connection and is also made from titanium. About the feeling of use: The titanium exhaust is an aggressive looking exhaust on the Grom but the exhaust note is very enjoyable to hear at idle and through the entire RPM range due to the baffling within the short muffler. Products to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase alongside this titanium exhaust to help achieve maximum performance. Difficulty of installation: The process to install took about one hour, I was removing an aftermarket exhaust which was very simple as it was just the two nuts at the front and one bolt at the back but the exhaust port gasket was very difficult to remove. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing but you are getting a full titanium exhaust system with features to help obtain high performance at a high price as compared to the much cheaper stainless steel version available from Over Racing.
