These 9.5 diameter hose clamps from Special Parts Takegawa are used with their 5 millimeter internal diameter hose to create an excellent fit and seal in my breather hose setup. The hose clamps are made from steel with some sort of coating to stop them from corroding, would be nice if you could be made available in stainless steel for a better looking finish. In stock and available from Webike at a great price. A tip to help from scratching up the coating on these hose clamps in to add some tape to the plyers you are going to use to compress the tabs, works a treat and keeps them looking new.
About quality and texture - The 9.5mm hose clamp from SP Takegawa is made from spring steel to maintain it's shape and finshed with a trivalent chromate treatment for prolonged corrosion protection, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The 9.5mm hose clamp does a wonderful job securing the breather hose to the barbed hose fitting within the catch can system and is a much neater option then using a zip tie, with the end result being a professional looking installation.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the 9.5mm hose clamp is the hose connector that allows for an increase breather hose size from 5mm to 12mm as generally for the motorcycles I work on do not have the small barbed hose fitting on the motorcycle side. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 9.5mm hose clamp is a simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to position the hose clamp to secure the breather hose to the barbed hose fitting.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the 9.5 mm hose clamp is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the 9.5mm hose clamp, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, purchasing small common use products like this from Webike Japan is the best option when combining multiple parts together if you are also taking into account the shipping cost.View Detail

About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the hose clamps from SP Takegawa. Made from a steel construction with an external diameter of 15 mm and an internal diameter of 13 mm.About the feeling of use: These hose clamps from SP Takegawa are very strong and continue to hold their clamping strength after being removed and installed many times.Products to buy together: Some 8mm clear breather hose from SP Takegawa would also be desirable to purchase alongside the hose clamps for you to be able to connect up to your catch tank.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes just a few minutes for each hose clamp, I find the strength of the hose clamps too high to be able to fit by hand so use pliers to complete this. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a high quality material hose clamp at a fair price as compared to the lower quality material some brands use for their hose clamps that lose their strength over time.About shipping and packaging: Sea freight was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: SP Takegawa offer their hose clamps in four different sizes but if different sizes are required then NTB hose clamps maybe what you need.View Detail
* About quality and texture, A steel spring clamp with a goldish in colour corrosion resistant coating, not silver in colour like the Webike picture.* About the feeling of use, These hose clamps secure the hose very firmly onto the mating receptical and I do like the clean finish as opposed to the screw type hose clamps that can look untidy once secured.* Products to buy together, Some new breather hose was purchased along side these additional hose clamps, I have moved away from the clear breather hose to the black.* Difficulty of installation, The fitting of these hose clamps is simple when using a suitable set of plyers, I used a set of mini multi grips with tape over the ends to prevent scratching up the coating as much as possible..The process was completed in 2 minutes with no difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, At just over $1 AUD each I find the pricing reasonable but the ones available from NTB can be had for half this price and I will gives those a try if I need more in the future.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, I can see that maybe using these goldish coloured hose clamps may not be very aesthetically pleasing when paired with the new black breather hose so if that is the case for yourself, Daytona offer these hose clamps in black. Use the product reviews to assist in making a decision on your purchase.View Detail
Really nice stainless steel exhaust system from Special Parts Takegawa at a great price here on Webike. If you are looking to get rid of the quite Honda OEM exhaust system but still wish to retain the factory look of your Honda Monkey then this is the exhaust system for you. This exhaust gives the little 50cc engine a nice note that you can now hear. Fit and finish of the exhaust is very nice and I do like the fact that if required in the future repacking of the muffler is made simple by the the use of rivets in the end cap. Comes with everything you need for a successful installation.View Detail
I was in the market for a new air filter for the Monkey and decided to give this one from Special Parts Takegawa a try. I have not purchased a part from Special Parts Takegawa that I did not like and this part is no different, it gives that nice intake noise and just looks trick sticking out the side of the frame like that. I will say that I would like to add the water resistant cover that they also sell to suit their pod style air filter. Comes with a breather attachment so you do not need to run an additional breather filter which will save you a few dollars.View Detail

When I picked up this Monkey the Honda OEM rear shock had no life left in them and I did not even waste anytime looking at other brands just went with these rear shocks from Special Parts Takegawa as they are my go to brand for the Monkey and have not disapponited this time either. Simple installation that anyone can do with the basic tools in your garage and I would suggest also remembering to add a little grease to the mounting posts to keep that area rust free. Nice OEM looking rear shocks with a spring rating that is more suitable for an average sized person. View Detail

I really love this part from Special Parts Takegawa, it just makes the Monkey look a million dollars and gives the engine overall just a better feeling. This special clutch kit also now gives you the ability to have a real oil filter and if you are going to run an oil cooler also the ability to have it start cooling when required by adding a thermostat. Such great thought has gone into designing this part. Installation skill required is medium and you will be needing some special tools which Webike has on offer. Expensive but well worth it. After some researching into all the different kits available for the Honda Monkey here on Webike I decided to go with this particular kit from Special Parts Takegawa mainly because it tucked nicely out of the way under the luggage rack with the up style exhaust and had the correct breather fitting to work with the clutch cover I have fitted to the engine. Do yourself a favour and also buy some hose a cutter from Webike too so you can have a perfect finish once the installation is complete. An expensive kit but it comes with everything you need and you don not have to spend a dollar more.View Detail
