Time for a change of air filter for this Z900. This was a part that needed changing on the Z900 bike that came in for a service. The air filter was pretty bad and very dirty which was only having a negative effect on the bike's running. The correct air filter was easy to find using the tools and help section on Webike pages. I also cross referenced with Kawasaki schematics for my own peace of mind. The air filter was really good value and slightly cheaper than I could source locally at my nearest Kawasaki parts dealer. I chose EMS for my courier as they just get my orders delivered fast. 7 days from shipping my order arrived. Everything in the order was extra well packed with bubble wrap for security. The air filter is not a massive one especially for such a large bike but you do need it to fit as it should. The old one had gotten a little funny shaped and was not sitting right and this was the first air filter change from new. This one however, fits perfectly. The air filter came in the usual Kawasaki packaging. The quality is yet to be found, once started up and run for a while. Initial testing though seems as though the filter is allowing the right amount of air through. Good signs there. Fitting was easy, the filter is not doing what it is supposed to do and the bike does sound better for it. Brilliant work Webike. Happy customer.
