Like the billet cam cover installed at the same time, it is a custom looking part.Strictly speaking, the larger surface area may contribute to a slight increase in cooling efficiency.There were Plating Specification and BarrelSpec. so I chose BarrelSpec. to be less conspicuous.Plating would have been better anyway...I thought it was conscientious that the O-Ring was included, as expected of KIJIMA.But the finishing touches on the all-important product are nowhere near as good as they should be.Quantity:2pc. Of the set, 1pc. had a rough surface on the hexagonal part.This is a bit disappointing. But considering the price, maybe this is what it is.

About quality and texture - Excellent quality. Fins are thin and sharp, much nice look then the plain OEM cover.
About the feeling of use - Fins dissipate the heat well and suit the more aggressive look of the Monkey now.
Products to buy together - The matching cam cover, product # APK0FALG00519TA.
Difficulty of installation - Easy to install, 10 minute job but if you still have the OEM airbox fitted you may find it a little more challenging.
Cost performance and comparison with other products - Expensive for a single cover and if you would like a set you may wan to consider the set from Endurance, product # ED12362K26A1A.
About shipping and packaging - Purchased back when EMS shipping was available. Was cheap and arrived in a week safety and sound.
Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike seem to stock and then discontinue a lot of item from G-Craft, so if you see something you are interested in jump on it straight away.

The MONKEY Restore was too dirty and leaking oil, and I wanted to improve its performance.It reminded me of the time when everyone used to use aluminum washcloths on the air cooling fins to dissipate heat.From a performance standpoint, would it be good to have more area to dissipate heat?I used a LaserThermometer to measure the level, and the results were 2 to 5 degrees lower than before I installed it. (It's a cheap product, so it's just a rough estimate.)Since it's January and the air-cooled engine cools down quickly when the engine is stopped, I don't think this is really necessary now, but it will be effective in the summer when the engine is on the verge of overheating.For the basic Overheat solution, it would be better to change the Oil viscosity from XXW-40 to XXW-50 or XXW-60, but I thought it would be effective as an insurance against heat dripping when I felt like this.It's also cheaper and more wallet-friendly to try it out before adding the oil cooler.By the way, I was working with O-ring, so I was able to kill two birds with one stone since I was working with the oil leak.In my case, it's a MONKEY, but if it comes with a CUB Leg shield, th...Read more

Die Schrauben habe ich mit 10Nm angezogen.

About the feeling of use - Perfect fit and helps with removing heat from the engine head.

Difficulty of installation - Easier then easy, a straight forward swap with the OEM part.
Cost performance and comparison with other products - This part from G Craft is expensive and there are cheaper options from other brands on Webike but not with the fins.
About shipping and packaging - When EMS shipping is available it is cheap and arrives in about a week so no complaints and arrived safety with plenty of air pillows for protection.
Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - You may also want to add some O-rings to the order as G Craft do not include any.
