About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the electro tap from SP Takegawa that is made from a insulted plastic housing with a conductive metal strip on the inside.About the feeling of use: Makes connecting power to universal accessories like my temperature guage that is not Grom specific a breeze and there is no premanently cut wires if the accessory isremoved in the future.Products to buy together: A ring terminal would also be desirable to purchase along side the electro tap so that a ground can be provided to the accessory via a point from the Grom's frame.Difficulty of installation: Installation requires accessing the wire you wish to tap a signal from and placing that wire and your accessory's wire into the electro tap, press down firmly on the metal strip for it to make contact between the two wires and then close the plastic clip to secure the connection. The process to install takes about 10 minutes. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting five electrotaps for the purchase price which makes them the best value per item for purchasing a small quantity but if you need 50 then Clever Lights product is better for you.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight.
